let’s count it all joy
welcome!
Welcome to March!
Let’s take this month to look more closely at God’s promises for us and how they change the way we live.
Much like last month, the verse list for this theme was on the overwhelming side. On your insert, I chose to list only verses that talked about promises, not verses that contained promises.
The Bible is filled with God’s promises. Our lives are filled with God’s promises. It is good to know them, and to recognize them, and I think it is also really good to read the verses that remind us that God is a promise-keeper and we can take comfort and rest in knowing that he keeps his promises.
I hope the contents of your mailer and this page, will encourage you to notice God’s promise-keeping in your life. I hope that his goodness to you, will prompt you to look for ways to live differently because of the assurance you have in him.
Your mailer includes ten little bits of goodness that I hope will bring your faith and your joy in Jesus to mind whenever you see or use them. More than anything, I would love for you to USE the goods from this mailer - to weave them into your projects and your personal devotions, to add color to your spaces, or to gift them to others and in so doing pass on Jesus’ love.

a prayer
Heavenly Father,
You keep every promise you make. Your Word cannot be broken. The Bible says, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever” (Hebrews 13:8). May we live each day of our lives in the power of your promises!
Amen.

I process my thoughts (and pray!) through writing. Perhaps you do too. If this is something you haven’t tried before, I would encourage you to give it a go. Sometimes, a little prompt is all it takes to get started.

Explore the connection between trusting in God's promises and experiencing peace amid chaos.
Copy your favorite “promise” quote from above and write a related prayer.

Something beautiful you saw today.
Consider how your understanding of God's promises has evolved over time. What lessons have you learned?
Explore the role of prayer in strengthening your belief in God's promises and His faithfulness.
Write about where you have seen God at work in your life, recently.
Write a letter to God expressing gratitude for being a promise keeper.
