plans, goals, and calendars

While your commonplace book isn’t your planner, tracking some calendar-type items in your commonplace book just might work for you.

Here are some journaling prompts related to plans, goals, and calendars:

  • record your priority task or “to-do” item for the week or month and then return later to make a record of your progress or completion

  • keep a list of annual, monthly, or even weekly goals

  • maintain a “someday list” with items that aren’t urgent, but that you would like to work on at some point

  • track your garden

  • record your sewing, writing, or other creative projeccts

  • write about how a particular season feels - does a busy season energize or drain you? are you
